D6 This belt's buckle
1 is a snarling face of reddened-tarnished silver that blends animal and human features.
2 is a splayed lily-flower with broad petals of semi-precious stone limned with gold.
3 is a nacreous spiral of a button like a snail's shell, only branching fractally with each spin around.
4 is a pair of interlinked hands forged from polished bronze.
5 bears the image of a serpent latched onto its own tail, formed of chips of emerald and malachite.
6 resembles a wheel of blackened metal or obsidian-stone, twisted into place.
D6 This belt's strap
1 consists of slats of horn and heartwood, the rings of each flowing through one another in captivating patterns.
2 is made of overlapping chevrons of shining iron.
3 is composed of the curved and enormous finger-bones of some great ape strung together with corded catgut.
4 is crafted from a strip of disconcertingly alive-seeming hide, with an apparent warmth and heart-beat.
5 is a length of aposematic, scaly reptile-leather.
6 is a braid of golden hair.
D6 This belt is adorned
1 with a sparse skirt of long and colourful feathers.
2 with loops of brocaded blue-and-rose silk.
3 with edges of scarlet glass beads.
4 with hooks from which to hang bottles and suchlike.
5 with an antipodean non-buckle on the backside in the shape of diving-together dolphins.
6 with a ring of quietly-jangling bells.
D6 Wearing this belt
1 allows you to shrug off any binding, mundane or magical or miraculous, by temporarily and agonizingly shrinking it about you for 1d6 damage.
2 renders you unable to be moved or knocked off your feet against your will.
3 allows you to make yourself as fat or skinny as you like by loosening it or tightening it.
4 allows you to lift any object you can wrap both your arms around.
5 allows you to draw out from it ammunition for any weapon you bear, as though an infinite bandolier.
6 makes your sexual prowess legendary.
D6 This belt was made
1 by a wizard who hoped it would counter-act the curse placed upon them, which subjected them to constant wardrobe malfunctions.
2 by an oracle, normally a weaver, who wanted to see what outcome a circular creation would lead to.
3 by a girdler in the grips of creative madness.
4 by a lich to cinch in their own disemboweled guts.
5 as the bonds of a demon, and later repurposed after that demon seduced its binders into releasing it.
6 by a dwarven artisan who hoped it lead to their exile being rescinded.
D6 This belt might be found
1 as a tourniquet around the limb of a deserting veteran, no less deadly for their maiming.
2 as the tripwire of a trap.
3 left tied off and behind as an emergency escape attempt from a pit in a dungeon.
4 around the waist of a braggart who stole it off a corpse.
5 tossed aside in an alley in a moment of drunken passion.
6 around the neck of an adventurer whose guilt was too much for them.
